And few people think that many of these things appeared in one form or another several thousand years ago. Of course, they looked somewhat different, but the functions were performed by all the same as today.
1. Greenland Fur Thong
The clothes were rather “modest” throughout history. But it turns out that modern thongs have existed for a surprisingly long time, and the Greenland Inuits have been wearing them for several hundred years. “Naatsit” are traditional thongs, but made of … leather and fur, and sewn with whale tendons or yarn of deerskin. They were usually decorated with beads and worn as underwear for both men and women.

During excavations in southern Egypt, archaeologists discovered the skeleton of a pregnant woman. The burial is about 3,700 years old and, as scientists assume, the find may shed light on the history of fertility and survival in the ancient world. The fact is that the mother and her child supposedly died during childbirth. And for ancient Egypt, this is a very typical situation.
Literally the other day, the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities officially reported that during the excavations carried out by the Italian-American group of archaeologists in the burial grounds not far from Aswan, a skeleton of a pregnant woman was found with a child stuck in the pelvis head down. One of the most informative fossils found on Earth is the nodosaurus skeleton, with well-preserved skin and lamellar shell, found in Canada by excavator operator Shaun Funk.
